Installation

Installation in 4 Simple Steps

Reveloni Flat File CMS was designed for maximum simplicity. You don't need database access, an SSH terminal or development tools.

Step 1 — Download

Download the latest version of Reveloni CMS as a ZIP file.

Step 2 — Upload to Server

Connect to your server via FTP (e.g. FileZilla) or through your hosting control panel (e.g. cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk). Upload the ZIP file to the root directory of your domain — usually the public_html or www folder.

Step 3 — Unpack

Unpack the ZIP archive directly on the server. Most hosting panels have a built-in extraction function. After unpacking, the CMS files should be directly in the domain directory (not in a subfolder).

Step 4 — Done!

Open your domain in the browser. The website is running! To access the admin panel, add /admin to the address (e.g. yourdomain.com/admin). You will receive your admin password together with the installation file.

Server Requirements

Reveloni CMS has very low requirements. You only need: PHP version 7.4 or higher, an Apache server with mod_rewrite enabled, and PHP write permissions (available by default on any shared hosting). That's it — no additional modules, extensions or configurations.

First Login

After your first login, immediately change the default password in the Settings tab — this is essential for security. Then set the administrator email address — this is needed for the password recovery function.

Shared Hosting

Reveloni CMS works on virtually any shared hosting. Tested with popular hosting providers worldwide, including Bluehost, SiteGround, HostGator, GoDaddy, DreamHost and A2 Hosting. No VPS or dedicated server is required.
